Rocker guards protect the "rocker panels" of your Jeep from damage when you're off-roading. Rocker guards come in two main types: frame-mounted and body-mounted. Frame-mounted rocker guards mount to your Jeep's frame (no drilling required). Body-mounted rocker guards, however, require you to drill holes in your Jeep body to mount them. The debate still rages on about which type is better. One thing is clear though, if you play on the rocks, some type of rocker protection is essential.
