Installed 5.5 inch long arm kit, took a few weekends ,cutting drilling ,welding had a friend held crossmember is very heavy have to go up and down with it twice, sset jeep up to there spec max caster 7 deg and min toe in 3/32 have the sve rear driveshaft, had front shaft balanced and extended 3/4 inch it got rid of horrable nosie in t/case. However im still dealing with a vibration more a drone at 60-65 mph ,called rubicon express was told the rubicon jeep is tricky do to t/case ,so they want me to set caster at 5 deg and try it if nosie still there i will install front locking hubs , the jeep drives WAYYY better than stock and rides like its a foot longer ,great ride ,awesome on trails, rocks ,just got to dial it in and i will be very happy ...the best kit on the market!!!!!! |

From stock to Awesome | |

We started with a stock '02 Jeep TJ and 30" tires. I opted for the 5.5" lift due to reviews and that so much space would allow for upgraded tires etc. My wife n I are extremely happy with the lift - we always get kudos for choosing this lift, 35" MTRs and 4.56 gears plus ARB front n rear. The stance absolutely demands attention; however, the rocks and trails at the 2011 Moab Jeep Safari put it to the test and came out with a two thumbs up from both of us. *One note* Ensure the lift does NOT interfere with the 4Hi/4Lo linkage. 4WheelParts installed the lift and we had to have a local mechanic cut 1 1/2" from the linkage to make 4Lo work during our Jeep Safari in Moab. Thank God my father, who lives there knew someone good.

I was talked into getting the 5.5 long arm over the 3.5 super flex. I was suprised at how well it handled everything from boulders to sand washes at 70 miles an hour. Could have drank a cup of coffee and not spilled. Hit dips and dropoffs with ease, very good at highspeed turns and amazing lean ability going over rock terrain . Glad I Spent the extra money it was truly worth every penny, cant wait to get back to the desert and see what else it can handle. Cost 1850.00 on sale . Had 4Wheel Parts install . |

Pic is worth a thousand words so check out the vid. The 5.5 long arm kit is the best bolt on kit money can by. Put on this kit and the next day you can do trails like the one in the video. The yellow TJ has the RE. |

SMOOOOOTH | |

I researched, asked, pondered for days, weeks hours and hours for the right suspension for my TJ. I wanted to get it right the first time and not be sorry. I chose Rubicon Express 5.5 becase it's been around the longest. It's the origional long arm thats had all the kinks worked out before other manufacturers even started their own longarm suspensions. Have not read a negative comment or review anywhere on re 5.5 as compared to numerous negative comments on other long arm suspensions. So I went with it. Have 11,000 miles on it with no glitches or problems. Wheel the heck out of it in the rocks here in Nevada and drive to work every day. The ride is as smooth as the stock suspension if not better. With 35 in tires 488 gears and lockers just unbeleivable offroad ability. Nothing stops it. It repeatedly amazes me. I'm so happy with it I came back and wrote this review. If you want a monster offroad machine that rides like a car...this is it. If you want to spend your money on utter quality and not have to be sorry for your choice...this is it. If you want heavy duty...this is it. Dont mess around if you want a sure thing. This is my third jeep that I've built and I cant see it getting any better than this. My only advice...spend the money for a professional install. Somebody that is a 4x4 specialty shop with experience. |

Best lift kit EVER! | |

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Plano, Tx)
I have had this lift kit for 35,000mi. and it has saved my butt so many times from flipping over, not only side to side but front to back as well. This kit gave me incredible clearance and outstanding durability. I have really pushed this kit to its absolute limits and it is still like brand new. I recently greased the joints after the 35,000mi. mark and it is just like brand new!!! P.S. This kit is worth every penny! It has the most incredible flex I have seen in coil overs! |

Great Kit | |

I just had the kit installed in my 02' wrangler replacing a lower quality 4" lift. The kit is complete including all parts necessary including extended braded brake lines. The only thing I added was a SYE kit (recommended but almost mandatory. The jeep handles off road sure footed with great flex. I was concerned about the surface street and highway manners and found the jeep to drive like a stock jeep, smooth and responsive and absolutely no death vibes. If I would have had more knowledge and experience when I first started the mods on the jeep, I would have started out with the RELA 5.5".
