So far ,so good | |

I purchased mine around 15k miles ago. I like the way it feels on road, and love the performance off road. Mine has the tri-link rear added, and think this was the best purchase since buying the Jeep itself. I already knew to add longer shafts, shocks and brake lines to the order. The only problem to this date was with the track bar bolts coming loose in the mounts. A little red thread locker and the problem was fixed. My hats off to Rubicon Express.

Don't forget the rear cv driveshaft

06 rubicon with 10,000 Great product. loved the powder coating. However, you need to buy shocks and a rear cv driveshaft. If 2600 wasn't enough. The gen 2 discos are great. So far, flex is superb, and it also has great street manners to boot. If you're going to do it once and do it right, do it Rubicon Express. Customer service is 8/10, but when you are in the middle of saying something, they won't let you finish talking, a turn off for me. |

Use Caution When Buying This Lift!

I bought this for my 98 TJ and installed it myself in about 14 hours. That included installing the 1" body lift, the CV rear driveshaft and the Slip Eliminater Kit from RE. The parts are quality parts, but the BIG downside for me were the heim joints RE uses. They had to be rebuilt every 5K mi and they were loose every time. This was a pain in the rear to do so often. I could see rebuiding them at 20K mi. or so, but not at 5k mi. The sytem flexed very well and did what they said it would, but for the heim joint problem, it isn't worth the money. Maybe they have improved it since 1998, but I doubt it. Buyer beware. Keep the rubber side down.
