Goodyear Wrangler MTR Tires - Reviews
Goodyear 35x12.50 R20 MT/R
Date: Oct 01, 2015 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Ventura, CA)
I currently have 43k on them and still have .25" tread depth and am thinking I can go another 5k miles. I disagree with rotations unless you balance them each time, as it causes steering pull/wobble each time you rotate until the tread wear adjusts to the vehicle position. I have a 2012 wrangler unlimited and am considering buying my second set. Yes, expensive and currently the inventory sets at 79 nationally for this particular size.

MTRs on a Ram | |
Date: May 23, 2015 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Colorado)
I have a 2013 1/2 ton Ram 4x4 and this was my first, and likely last, experience with MTRs. For the good: I didn't find these to be excessively noisy given the tread design, very tolerable and not really noticeable at my road speeds of 60-65 mph; I thought their traction in packed snow and icy conditions was on par with the tread design; traction and durability elsewhere was way above average. The not so good: I have 21k on this set and 2 of the 4 tires have worn considerably more than the other 2, one is down to 1/16th so all 4 will be replaced now even though the 2 better tires still have more than half their tread left. While I don't expect the mileage one would get out of an AT, I do expect better than this, particularly for the price. Incidentally, I'm a firm believer in tire rotation & balance with alignment and do this every 3,000 miles. This has served me well in the past and I will continue this routine. I will return to the BFG ATs, particularly with the improved sidewall strength and snow performance in their new KO2s.

Horrible Tread Life | |
Date: Jul 31, 2012 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Nashville, TN)
I bought put 285/70/17 tires on my Ford F150 EXT 4X4 and wished I never bought these tires. I had the sidewall spilt on 2 tires within the first 6 months. They replaced the first one for free and made me pay a pro-rated portion for the second tire. This should of been a free replacement due to a manufactures defect. The tire tread only last around 12,000 miles!!!! Yes, you read that right 12,000 miles! I called their customer service after the second sidewall spilt and they were rude and wouldn't help. They are very loud now and my truck shakes when I go around 70mph. I will go back to ProComp Xtreme MT's.

Scary-bad on Ice... | |
Date: Apr 05, 2011 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (CT)
The load range C version will wear fast and balance terribly once they get under 1/2 way worn. just downright dangerous after 1/2 worn on ice, the lugs get wider as the wear down. I've also ran a set of load range E in 245/75/R16, lasted 80,000 miles and still had tread. Also suffered from extremely bad traction on ice, enough for me to worry about just rain.... Nasty on rocks though- not bad in mud when new and lugs are still deep. |

Great on everything except ice

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Edmond, OK)
Have these on my 06 TJ loved them they look great and peform well, as far as tread life I drive 100 miles one way to work and they are holding up very well. I have had a little death wobble but not convinced it is the tire. All that being said I lost it going 40 mph on ice and rolled my jeep last week if you will be driving on ice DO NOT BUY THESE tires they provide 0 traction on ice. Thse tires are gonna cost me 1500 in damage on the jeep.

Great Off-road, NOT for winter driving ON-road
Date: Nov 01, 2010 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Pagosa Springs, CO)
These are GREAT off-road tires! I took a group up Imogene Pass in Colorado, and one of them asked me if it worried me that a rather sizable screw was poking out of my tire. It did worry me a little, but the tire was strong enough to keep the screw in place and I completed the trail without a problem. That being said, these tires have nearly killed me while driving on the freeway in icy conditions. On one drive back home from the mountains, I nearly spun out three times - while driving straight and substantially reducing my speed. Unfortunately, this is a serious safety issue and I'll be replacing these tires with something more suitable for winter driving in Colorado. In short, these tires work GREAT off-road and on dry pavement, but they can get real sketchy on the slush and icy roads that I drive in the Colorado winter. Giving it seven stars due to their excessive noise and treadlife |

Best Tire Ever | |
Date: Sep 14, 2010 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Camas, WA)
It is amazing how people can be so stupid. You should allways pick the tires for your driving. MT=off road. AT=on road. MTR's are the best of both worlds not the best in each world. Ya wonder why you tires do not last? Try your running to much air and your tires cup. I have ran 7 sets of MTR's on 4 different Jeeps and have never got less than 50k out of a set. You want your tires to do well off road, then air down. And no 15 or 20 psi is not aired down. A jeep can run 10 to 12 psi with a load and have no problems. I run 26 psi front and 25 psi rear on road and they NEVER get hot and ride like a dream for MT's. I have beadlock on my 03 Rubicon and run 4 psi on the trail with no problems. I have ran Boggers and BFG MT and they don"t come close in all around driving. Your tires shake, get them rebalanced, I mean really, you blame the tire. IT"S YOU!!!! Take care of your tires no matter what brand you ride.

Great tires - while they last
Date: Sep 14, 2010 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Barrington, RI)
I've replaced them once on my '05 Rubicon and am set to do it again now at 55K miles. Hey - I got them a second time and love the way they handle - everything. Unfortunately, they are now only available in the newer, PRICIER kevlar version. For tires that are only giving me 27K, the cost is a little hard to justify. So, if you've got the extra cash, you're not going to be disappointed with them at all. Unfortunately I've got to hunt for something that will last a bit longer.

Excellent tire for the money
Date: Mar 24, 2010 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Colorado)
I have had MT/R tires on my 01 wrangler for 7 years now and swear by them. Reading some of these reviews, I think people's expectations are a bit high. These are not super swampers, they are a compromise for both daily driving on road and off roading. Like anything if you don't maintain it, it will wear out faster. Maintain proper air pressure, rotate your tires regularly - I rotate my tires more often than I change my oil. My first true experience with these tires, I was in a small pool of water, maybe 60x60 feet and a decent mud bank of average incline to climb out. I locked both diffs and climbed right out. It occurred to me that I probably didn't need to lock the diffs and did it again unlocked and in 4 high. The grip, in slippery, muddy conditions was awesome. Again, these tires are a compromise between hard core off road tires and all weather tires. I've blown through 3' of snow at 45mph in these and had a blast. I will buy these again. |

MT/R | |
Date: Mar 08, 2010 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Montana)
I had a set of MT/R's, the worst tire I have ever ran on a trail!!! The side walls are too weak, the traction is reduced by far when they are wet. When it comes to runnin the slick granite slabs on the Con, I wouldn't recomend these tires. Or, if you plan on wheelin where there are little sticks, stumps or semi sharp rocks that may come in contact with your tire, I still wouldn't recomend them! Just run Super Swamper IRocs!!! |

Rock crawler mtr | |

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Gardnerville, NV)
I have 2 rigs with 37s and 35s both sets of mtrs have taken many different types of abuse from road wear to side wall punchures. For the hardcore wheelers I think its a battle between bfg mts and goodyear mtr and superswampers tsls. So far they's all keepin up with the others in some sharp and rugged rock terrain. The problem I now face is 37 1250 15 are supposedly a discontinued tire size does anyone know the scoop on that story cause I can't find a replacement tire now.

I have my 2nd set of MT/R's on my rig and they are great in clay and mud. They are comparable to the Dayton Timberline, but didn't get much milage out of the timberlines. Our trucks go offroad every day for work. We need a tire that can get us back and forth to the main road. I like these the best.

Two of the five that came w/ my '08 Wrangler survived
Date: Jul 04, 2009 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Phoenix and other places in Arizona )
WORST TIRES EVER. I've had my Jeep Wrangler since December, 2008, and it came with the Good Year Wrangler tires. OF the five that came with my Jeep only two have survived. In fact, in the last two months I've had two complete blowouts and one odd flat on a dirt road. The last occurred yesterday as my fiance and I were out on Buck and Doe Road near the Grand Canyon, about 75 miles from the nearest gas station. These tires are crap. I'm replacing them next week. |

Never had a problem....
Date: May 02, 2009 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Fort Worth, TX)
Wow, I have had my 2006 Wrangler Rubicon for almost 3 years. I just clocked over 32,000 miles with them and figure that I have about 5000 more miles safely. I have read through all the reviews, good and bad and there are some valid points. Every review is the same it is someones opinion from their own personal experience. Just the other day I had a piece of Barbed Wire that I picked up from a trail in my MTR's, when I went to a franchised tire shop the supervisor said that "Hard Core" off roaders hate the MTR's. Of course he also said that the sidewalls were only 2-ply... I pointed to the tire and showed him were they say 3-Ply right on them. My opinion of the MTR's is that they are an outstanding tire. That goes with the maintenance, driving conditions that I have done, and my opinion. If you do not rotate them drive them in a hot environment at 70 or 75 miles an hour you may only get 12000 miles out of them. I find it hard to believe that good rotatation, balancing, and proper air pressures would consistently yield 12000. As fas as wet and snow traction, Goodyear will tell you that these are not the tires strong points. It also doesn't help that the Wrangler's that the tires are on are squirely due to the torque and have a tendency to slip and slide in these conditions anyway. I have driven all types of vehicles in Washington State and Montana. The Wrangler is a vehicle that will slide right out from under you with any tires. If you drive in these conditions alot, then go to a tire shop and have the center lugs syped. Off road the tires have handled everything that I have thrown at them, I will admit that when I first bought the Rubicon I couldn't clear mud out of the tires when I was locked, a recent bypass and the ability to lock in 4High has fixed that problem. So I would rate these tires an 8 out of 10, but the traction in the snow is a known weakness. The noise is as loud as any other MT tires out there. |

Dipped tire pattern | |

I own a 2006 Jeep Rubicon and take it off road every weekend. I was in love with the way these tires felt almost like driving on Nerf footballs! NOW! They are 65% worn and they shake my front end so violently at 45mph that I have to slow back down to maintain control. I am looking for a tire that feels like this one did when I bought it. With the same wraparound tread.

What's up with newb "Rubi" owners?
Date: Feb 10, 2009 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Seattle, WA)
If you want more off road, go with Swampers or similar "hard core" tires--which basically suck on road. If you want more on road, go with BFG ATs--which basically suck on much more than dry dirt and gravel. The Goodyear MT/Rs are good "all purpose"/off road-oriented tires. Overall, the MT/Rs are decent in most of what gets thrown at them--maybe not the best at anything, but certainly not the worst either. That's why the Jeep engineers chose them... and I'm sure they tried 'em all before making their choice for OE Rubicons. On a side note, I used to work at 4x4 shop that has national profile. The owner liked the MT/Rs saying that they were the best overall tires he'd tried. I'm not mentioning the shop or his name as I'm not trying to say that he's endorsing the MT/Rs, only to point out that they were liked by a guy that really knows his stuff. BTW, calling Rubicons "Rubis" is lame... I started skipping reviews where a person said "on my Rubi..." |

Perfect Aggressive All-Terrain
Date: Oct 06, 2008 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Ohio)
I have been running these tires in a size 33x12.5/15 (I went for a low center of gravity and lots of skid plates) for a little over a year now. The Jeep Wrangler they are on is a daily driver as well as a beat up trail rig. I love these tires as does about 90% of my club. Pros: -Thick, aggressive sidewalls. You can't just say a tire is weak just because you have a failure. I love running creek beds and washouts, these tires are perfect for me. -Daily drivable, if you get someone who knows what they are doing, they balance perfectly and ride smooth (keep in mind, I have 33's). -Top marks on rocks and dirt. Average in snow and mud. Cons: -LOUD! If you want a quiet ride, buy some A/Ts. -Very poor in sand. On dunes and soft river bottoms, you will just dig a hole. I replace them every two years (35k or so). Get an alignment/balance every 6 months and ONLY rotate front to back, NEVER side to side. And NEVER rotate in your spare. |

Postal Jeep, 2 punctures in 3 day
Date: Jul 25, 2008 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Rock Hill, SC)
I purchased a new 2008 RH drive Jeep Wrangler to use on a rural mail route. This vehicle came equiped with Goodyear Wrangler tires, and what a piece of crap they are! The first 3 days of use on the mail route, we had 2 flat tires. I travel 25-30 miles of gravel roads per day and the rocks were punching holes in the tire. We took the vehicle back to the dealer, Stateline Chrysler Plymouth and they were no help at all. While we stood there and chatted, the service manager said he could see "no defects" in the tire. The tires look good on the outside, the problem is deeper than looks. After I spent $700+ on a new set of 5 tires, the problem stopped, so I am confident the tires Jeep chose to equip my vehicle with are not up to the task the vehicle they were on was designed to do! |

I have 37X12.50X15's on a 97 Burb. Near the end of life (about .25 inch of tread) the side walls start failing during driving. I had two blowouts in a week. This is my second set and both times same thing..sidewalls fail during city driving. Up until then they were great on snow and mud and good highway. You do have to rotate alot also. Might just be a 37 inch on 15 inch wheel thing.

Great on sedona rock! | |
Date: Oct 28, 2007 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Arizona)
200 miles of highway to get to Sedona AZ and no complaints. True they are a bit noisey at 70mph but they ARE MTR's. They drove straight and firm. On the trails they performed admirably. Grip was great! 33/12.5/15's and aired them down to 20 psi. with a Rubicon Express Flex Arm suspension. I am glad they have the Durawalls. I could see several potentially damaging marks on the sidewalls...no punctures or torn rubber. They are a little more expensive than BFG's but Im not sure I would have been as confident out there in the boonies with the BFG's. Thanks Discount! |

These tires are great for the rocks. If you use 31" MTR's in the mud you're in trouble, lugs aren't spaced far enough apart. I don't run mud so I don't care how they perform in it. Little noisy on the street, but then I drive a jeep who cares.

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Bakersfield, CA)
I read reviews here and most people dont like these tires. They say the tires are to slippery in ice or wear fast are noisy dont work well in mud or snow. The problem could be that they run to much psi for traction in ice, snow.the tires dont last on road, they are offroad tires. I am an extreme offroader! I do it all,all the time. My 4 wheel drive club make runs twice a month. We do a lot of rock crawling, mud runs and deep snow,in extreme conditions. I know what works and what doesnt. We have 27 rigs in our club and have others tag along from time to time. I can tell you first hand that this is an awsome tire in all conditions offroad. if you want a good offroad tire on your jeep then you have to sacrifice some on road ability. If you want a tire that performs well on the road then buy a hiway tire and get left behind on the trail. |

These tires came with my Rubicon and they are decent tires. I never had a puncture when I went off roading. They handled the rocks pretty well. But on road these things are really garbage. They just dont feel right in the rain. My tires where always spining in the rain. I constanly had to rotate them (every 1500) because they would wear unevenly. They rattled like hell and made to much noise. I know they are MT but still! The BFG MT and AT are much better in my opinion. May be that is why the 07 model switch to the BFG.

305/70R16 MTR | |
Date: Feb 13, 2007 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Columbus, OH)
I purchased the MTR tires because I thought they would be great. They are... in dry trail rides and amazing on rocks with decent sidewall strength. I bought the tires for this off-road use and found that they are less than ideal in mud and seem to be a little soft. Sometimes small pieces of the tires chip off and I had to rebalance the tires. Furthermore, the performance on road is poor at best. Dry conditions on road are fine; however, as soon as you get the road wet or snowy the tires become useless. I have had many tires and these are at the bottom of my list to repurchase. Currently running same size Dick Cepek MT and I like them. Can't wait to check the tires out this off-road season! So far so good!

MTR's | |
Date: May 11, 2006 | |
Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Brawley, CA)
I purchased an 04 Rubicon with 7000 miles on it. The stock MTR's in front were a little cupped, evidently the previous owner never rotated them. The tires made so much noise, you could not hear the radio at speeds over 50 MPH. I moved the fronts to the rear on opposite sides to change the direction of rotation, and upped the pressure to 50 psi to run on the middle of the tread. After about 2000 miles, mostly pavement, they quieted down. I continue to rotate them every 3000 miles, run 15 psi offroad and 40 psi on pavement. They perform very well in the desert, rocks, and sandy washes in So. Cal. BTW, you can run them up to 80 psi as they are load range E. Next set will be 265R16's to gain 1/2 inch clearance.

Excellent Tire - Rock Crawling Outstanding

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Sacramento, CA)
I have run 15 different off road tires on various rigs since 1979....(Dick Cepek, BF Goodrich, Toyo, Goodyear, Bridgestone...etc). Put all tires through snow, mud, rocks & road conditions. I put 15k on my 31" MT/R that came stock on my Rubicon. They performed great off trail, very well on road including snow....The key to maintaining tires is on schedule rotations since it is a softer tread. Tire pressure is key in any adverse condition including snow!!! Most all aggressive tread tires will be somewhat noisy and as the tread wears the noise can increase...true on all off road tires I have run!!! I liked these tires well enough to put a new set of 33" MT/R tires along with my 5.5" RE long arm lift. The majority of folks at the off road shop that installed my lift run these tires as well... |

Dry road = Noisy Dry Road + hard on brakes = Sliding Wet road = Sliding Snow covered road = Sliding ice = forget about it mud = worthless I have driven for many years in these same conditions on lots of different tires. I would rank these as some of the worst tires I have ever owned. They may be great in the rocks but that would be the only area they are worth anything from what I have seen. |

I ran my stock MTR on my Rubicon for about a year. They are too soft a compond and quickly had MANY cuts, which resulted in loose chunks of rubber in each tire. It became a pain as I had to often rebalance them. They also pick and throw rocks like CRAZY!! I see other owners have complained about this problem too. Ok for stockers... but ProComp or BFG are better and don't throw stones. If found them noiser than my ProComps on road and they are not real good in mud as they quickly become clogged.

I've had a set of Goodyear 32x11.50x15 MTR's on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler for a little over 40,000 miles. They have been rotated and balanced every 3000-4000 miles. I think I can get another 10,000 out of them easily. You will notice a little higher highway noise the closer you get to rotating them, but they are somewhat quiet besides that. However, I wouldn't expect that type of mileage out of a heavier vehicle... but that's why I have a Jeep!

Good performance, but typical Goodyear problems!

These tires came with my '04 Rubicon. At first I was very impressed with their performance. Surprisingly quiet on the road (except at 65+), great in the rocks & dirt - I live in AZ so I really can't comment on mud, snow or wet pavement :). I've never thought much of Goodyear tires. My wife had a Jetta that came with Goodyear Eagle's and it seemed that they were always loosing air and seemed to look for nails. I eventually got fed up and replaced them with Yokohama's and we never again had a problem. I've had the MTR's on my Jeep for 11,000 miles and I've picked up 1 nail & 1 screw (both in the "puncture resistant" sidewall so Discount wont repair them). Also I try to keep them aired up to the recommended 33 psi on the street but everytime I check them all four tires have dropped to about 29 psi. The parking lot at my work is made of crushed asphalt & everytime I leave I have to deal with rocks pelting the inside of my fender for about a mile. These tires do perform very well, but I'm again experiencing the same old problems with Goodyear tires. I'll be lifting my Jeep in the next couple of months & will be switching to non-Goodyear tires. |

This is a freakin great tire. My dad experimented with about 6 different sets of tires on his blazer and when he came across this set he and I we both amazed at the preformance compaired to the rest. He first bought them in 35 inch then bumped it up to 37's with a 6 inch lift and a little fender trimming. This is a full size Blazer. When it came to my jeep I knew these were going to be the only tire for me. I ride in deep mud, cross streams, standing water, and basic trail ride. I also rode the jeep with these tires as a daily driver for 4 months. They are loud on the road but if your going to buy these to get to the mall your crazy. They self clean when SPUN. If your rig can't spin them your gonna be in a bad spot in mud. This is true with any tire. In mud you need to spin to keep moving. This is 4x4 101 guys. I run 35's with a 3.5 inch suspension lift and a 1 inch shackle lift. They rub my springs but a rim with a greater offset will change this. The only other tire after this that I would try id a Mickey Thompson Baha Claw. If you play in the mud pits and are not afraid to spin your tires thn this is a great tire. Im not a rock guy so i have not comment on that aspect of wheeling. |

I ran a set of 32" MTR's on my Jeep for several years and was more than happy with them, so when it was time for new tires I went with the MTR in a 35x12.5 R15 and love them in all conditions offroad. Rock, mud. Times I was stuck I don't believe to be due to the tires.

The Goodyear MT/Rs came stock on my '03 Rubicon and i am not impressed with these tires. I have run BFG, Cooper, and Kelly mud terrains, in addition to a couple of different A/T tires from Firestone, and the MT/Rs rank the worst of all. They are exceptionally noisey on the highway, attract tread clogging mud, and you might as well run a wrinkle wall slick in anything wet. Siping the tires helped keep the jeep from feeling like it was floating on wet pavement. The only good thing to note is the durable side wall(that's why they got 3 stars), however, I have never been able to puncture a side wall off-road, and believe me, I have tried.

Goodyear MTR's | |

This tire is great for rocks, and is decent on the street if you rotate them at least every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. If you fail to rotate on a regular basis the tires will get cupped and start getting very loud and unfriendly on the street. If you are in an area where you ride in mud then this may not be the tire for you. It packs with mud fairly easy and does not self clean very well. The tire is great on the rocks (provided it is fairly dry) due to the stiff sidewalls. Overall I would say this is a good tire for a daily driver vehicle that needs to balance street driving with off roading, but if you are looking for something to give you traction in the mud this is not the tire.

Great overall tire. Great on rocks. Great on dirt. Decent in mud. Decent in snow. Not very well on ice. (what aggressive tire is?) Haven't tried them in the sand. (they would probably perform decent) One of the more quiet (on road) aggressive tires out there. |

Awesome tires on My '98 Cherokee

I have had a 32" set of these on my 4" lifted 1998 Jeep Cherokee and they give a real safe feeling when running unimproved backroads in Ontario Canada. We have many many miles of uninterupted roads that have sharp Granite and Limestones poking up in the dirt and the puncture resistant MTR's are the ticket here. They really dig at the unimproved boat ramps of sand and mud and are also good in snow and rain as well as running the thousands of miles of rough Ontario highways. Curbs and such are easily climbed with confidence too, to the smiles and amazment of onlookers...HE,HE....

These tires are the best for Rock crawling but they absolutely suck in thick mud and slushy snow since they easily pack up and it takes a while for the lugs to clean themselves. They are silent on the road as compared to other offroad tires. If you love to play with rocks then buy these, but if your going to mostly play in the mud, I recommend the Interco IROK or BFG Mud terrains. |

The tires are great for offroad. Rating out of 10: snow 7, mud 7, sand 8, gravel 9, dirt 10, rocks 10, aired down offroad 10, pavement 7, wet-pavement 5, snow-pavement 7. The wear is a litte quick and almost worth the cost. The tires I rated are 305/70r16's and are used on my TJ. I do plan on getting them again.

MT/R = May Throw Rocks...

Reviewer: A JeepReviews.com User from (Raleigh, NC)
These tires are decent in gravelly trail sections, but mud confounds the high-tech tread design and they turn into racing slicks. They are decent in snow and OK in sand. Pavement creates a bit of a howl, but not nearly as much as a swamper. Rocks seem to LOVE residing in the extraterrestrial tread pattern, only to be slung into your fenders once you get up to highway speed... these lugs just don't self-clear very well. I am not impressed with the lifespan of these tires compared to the price. They do have thick sidewalls, but this is not an advantage if you care to air down to achieve a more supple contact patch while off-road. I sold the ones that came on my 2004 Rubicon and got a set of BFG Mud Terrains. |

I have had a set of 35x12.50x15 for almost 2 yrs. I love the on road as well as the off road performance of these tires. They are not the killer earth diggers that boggers are, but for an all around good tire these are what you want. It's nice to come off the trail and be able to drive down the road like you're in a car. After many trail rides the tires still look and perform like they should. A set of 37's are in my CJ's future

I first saw these tires in action on the rubicon trail. couldn't beleive it when a guy in a 4runner was on his side, running super low air pressure just kept spinning them right into the rocks. Eventually those side lugs kicked in, gave him enough traction to right himself, and he was outta there. No flats or breaking of the beads. I ended up getting a set of 35x12.5's for myself and i am satisfied. The aren't loud and they look great. |

Great Dual Duty Tires | |

I've run 37" MTRs on my jeep for the past three and a half years. They do very well on the street for an aggressive tire and are ideal for a dual duty rig. They are tough tires but are still radials, I've managed to slice a couple of my sidewalls and one of the tires does not hold air. They really shine in the rocks but do not do very well in mud.

I love these tires. I have 32x11.50 right now, but am going to sell these and buy the 37x12.50 in about a month or so. I will be buying MT/R's again. No warranty but you don't need it with these things. These are the best of both worlds when it comes to drivability and off-road ability. |
