I bought a set of 33x14.50x15 trxus sts from a local dealer in replace for a set of brand new boggers that were defected so I start out on the road after having the put on and they road smoothe then all of a sudden the bouncing and wallbiling started and I just thought that they were new that they would wear down. So a couple of days later they were still doing it so I took the spacers off and dropped the air pressure in them. Thinking that this would solve the problem ,,, well it didnt the truck is shaking so bad that you can hardly keep it in the road , so now I'm stuck with these bouncy rough riding things whatever you do DONT BUY THESE TIRES

Overall this is a very good tire. Ill talk about them from best to worst. Great on the pavement. Good off-road: I've beat the hell out of mine and they've never popped. I am talking about stuff like driving over train tracks and getting chased down the tracks by a mile long train, bouncing over the ties and spikes at like 30mph and jumping the rails. Any trail that's already beaten these tires will get you through. Sand, snow, gravel whatever, not a problem. Good but not great in the mud. Stay out of the deep thick stuff with these tires because they dont self clear. Ive had to use the winch when the tires wont clear the mud. I have them on my 99 XJ, 33x12.5 rear no slip locker.

Customer Rating Not as good as some people describe.

I bought these tires for my 92 chevy 4x4. 35 x 12.50 on 17 inch rims. I heard about how quite they were and how well they performed on the street. Well...the first thing i noticed about them was that they BOUNCE, alot. My truck was litterly shaking so bad i had to pull over in fear of breaking something. I checked air pressure and set all 4 to the same. This fixed the problem for a little while (Though they still bounced at a certain speed)...The next week they began bouncing again. Again, the air pressure dropped in two of them. Constantly checking air pressure becomes very annoying and unless you want to have a real rough ride ON THE STREET you will have keep doing it atleast once a week. After a year with them on my truck, The tread was already half gone. They were wearing REALLY quick. I frequently go to the beach and this was the only place in which I was satisfied with them. Although, you do have do lower the air pressure for them to become effective...unfortunately.

In the mud, theres not much traction and all they seem to do is spin. The only thing that was keeping me from getting stuck was my 4 wheel drive and my powererful 350 racingly inching through the mud.

I will admit that they look good in appearance and sound great, if you like that nice humming sound and not the wa-wa-wa-wa sound mud terrains make. Deffinatly not worth buying for mostly on the street use.

I am now buying some BFG All-Terrains and selling my 4 35 x 12.50's at 100 dollars a piece. I would not recommend this tire if you are not driving a jeep or do not LIVE on the beach. They will shake your vehicle to bits, leaving you with worn out steering parts and joints...even if you are constantly checking air pressure. Just save yourself some money AND time for parts and maintance and not buy these tires. They really are not as good as these other people suggest...If they arnt working for the company and getting paid to write good reviews about sucky tires...

Customer Rating Excellent sand tire!

I have the 33x12.50 STS's on my '91 Jeep Wrangler. I recently took them to the Ocala National Forest in central Florida. With 16 psi, on 15x10 wheels, these tires were nothing short of amazing in deep, loose "sugar sand". Out of the 5-9 Jeeps in our group rides, I was the ONLY one who could navigate the deep sand without spinning a tire, PLUS I did it in 2wd! These tires do not dig in, but seem to ride right over the top of loose sand! I have had them in some mud, but they don't do as well in that environment. In mud, they tend to pack up the tread, and do not bite very well. I would have given them a rating of 10 stars if they were better in the mud, but they're not that good. However, if your off road activities include a lot of sand, stop shopping and buy these tires ASAP!

In my opinion, the road noise is not that loud, they do hum, but they are certainly not loud. I would recommend that anyone who buys these tires, or already has them, should pay close attention to tire pressure, the lower the pressure you use, the better the tire works. Running the lowest pressure that you can to get them to wear evenly, will result in excellent traction.

Customer Rating Best tire ever bought

Well,

I have bought the STS 33" 12.5 for my TJ. And all i can say is they are the best i have ever bought they are amazing on the road and the sand.

When you deflate them for the sand they amzae you even more they remind me of quad tires when you deflate.

I have tried so many tires and nothing compares to them.

I have not tried them on the Rocks as i use my TJ for the SAND and Street only.

Customer Rating The Only True ALL Terrain Tire In The World

I've had these tires on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 Inline 6 for over 6 months. I use them mostly on streets and highways but I go off road a good amount in sand (beach), mud (trails), and in the occasional clay when in Georgia. These tires are real good on the road I rarely ever loose traction on the street and when I do its not much. These tires are much louder than any road tire. These tires are good off road but not as good as the best off road tires. These tires are meant for owners of 4x4 vehicles that want the best balance available. They are also a great deal especially the 29" size.

I bought a set of 35x12.50x15's for my 2001 jeep wrangler and these have been wonderful tires. We have just been recently having snow and these have superb traction and handling in snowy conditions. On the road they are very quiet and ride very well. Off road they were meant for the weekend warrior who spends the majority of their time on the road but gets that itch to play once in a while. They tend to hold gravel and mud and throw it everywhere when you get back on the road. The only thing i don't like about them is they seem to be wearing fast but that could just be me who knows? Anyway wonderful tire for the money i would recomend them to anyone wanting something that has all around good performance on and off road.
