36" IROKs on an 06 Rubicon Unlimited

I have been Jeeping for 30+ years and these are by far the best tires I have ever had. Everything I have thrown at them has been conquered with ease. Rocks, mud, snow have all been easy with these tires. Haven't tried sand yet but suspect aired down they will do well. This vehicle is my daily driver and at 14k they are holding up VERY well for a mud tire. You have to pattern these tires to the weight of your vehicle. At 23 psi they are perfect on my Jeep. I run them at 12psi on the trail. They are wearing even. One of my tires had a balancing patch come loose after a couple of months and was no longer able to be balanced. Interco didn't give me any trouble about replacing the tire with a new one. I just can't say enough about these tires. I will be running nothing else as long as they are making them. |

37" IROK radials on a 2008 JK

These tires love the rocks more than anything I have ever used, but the soft lugs that make them stick to rocks so well are also prone to chunking. They also do great in the mud and snow, much better than BFGs, MT/Rs, or Toyos. I took them to Pismo a couple of times and they were decent, but not great compared to other MTs I have used in the sand. I would say that the IROKs are the most well rounded off-road tire out there. The highway drive is acceptable with the radials, if you can get your tires to balance (which can be tough or impossible, I have a tire I use as my spare that will not balance). They are actually pretty quiet until they wear down about half-way. Be midfull that those soft lugs that make the tire so great in the rocks, wear down very fast on the street. On a daily driven rig, don't expect a long life out of these tires. |

The Irok is a great tire. mine are 39.5/13.5/16 bias ply. the best tire i have run yet. but keep in mind these are not road tires. they never were designed to be. the road time i have had has been good, they are about the quietest interco tire I have had, but they wear out quickly. that is because of the soft compound they are made of. this makes them great for rocks. they are about the stickiest tires on rocks out there. I do wish the tread depth was a little more, but I always have plenty of traction. so keep in mind that these are called IROK's not i roads and purchase accordingly. If you offroad any, these tires will get you back with no problems. I love them.
