I bought my guards powder coated with out the slider bar. They came to me in great shape. I installed them without the liners and havent had any problems with rust. These rockers are tough! And really look great on the jeep.

Great product but DO NOT order powdercoated. Powerdercoating is the worst idea in the world. Also have to modify body mounts for fitment, but once theyre on, hammer away at your rockers with great protection! Great looking product! |

Well made, Poorly designed

I bought the Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers for my Wrangler Unlimited because they were among the very first to market with a rocker guard for the Unlimited. I think the design is not very well thought-out. Tying the body tub directly to the frame pretty much circumvents the vibration/shock absorbing ability of the rubber body mounts. Mine generated a surprising amount of noise once installed, and when I later removed them, I found that they had actually damaged the body due to the inevitable flexing they do because they sit directly on the frame. I contacted PSC about this, and though they were curteous, they did not agree that there was a problem with the design. Oh well, too bad for me I guess. |

I have had these for about six months. I love the look. They are a very sold piece. Mine came podwer coated and there is not a scratch on them. They install easy enough. The only thing is they do not make good side steps, feet tend to slip off the tube and crack an ankle or something. Bfd. Love'em. I'd buy again in a second.

The install was easy and went smoothly. You can now order them powder coated if you order them from poison spyder direct at no extra charge, just call. My only complaint is the pakaging was bad. UPS threw them around so much they busted the rocker through the box and then dragged it to my front door like that but with a file and some touch up paint you cant even tell it happend. Then i went to test them at Tellico OHV and slamed on every rock i could. It didnt even phase them and they still look great. I definitly recomend these.

They are some of the best work I have seen, but after I had them powder coated I had to cut them to make them fit. They didnt fit the frame mounts, they where cut way to thin. After a hack saw and alot of time they look great and the welds are near perfect.

Great protection easy to install, they come unfinished from the factory so you can paint them any color or powder coat them, I had mine powder coated and installed them on my TJ Unlimted and they always turn heads and offer superb protection.
