A high quality solid product. If you are installing this product on a Jeep with lift you must use a Track Bar Bracket or the unit will bind. This is explained in the Teraflex installation instructions. The rotating design of this unit increase rear wheel droop. It also has grease fittings at both ends.

Teraflex Adj Rear Trac Bar

After adding a teraflx 4" lift and 1" spring spacers to my '03 TJ, I removed the factory trac bar and added the Teraflex adjustable. 2 full turns out put the rear where it needed to be, but I found that the TJ leaned to the passenger side once I completed the install. I compared the two tracbars and noticed that there is one slight angle in the axle mount end of the factory tracbar that the adjustable does not have. I noticed this "bound" the trac bar and pushed the passenger side down about 1/4". I removed the bar and tweaked the mounting bracket toward the rear of the jeep to make up the angle needed which allowed the new trac bar to flex without binding or "pulling down" on the passenger side of the TJ. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and adjustability of the product. |
