Great Flying Bolts | |

Ha Ha if you take the bolts loose to clean these make sure you tighten all of them back up lol. Good wheel they were on the jeep when I bought it. I would never have bought them though. Real big pain to clean atleast a hour a wheel and less than a week they look like well not to good. Just don't understand the point of a simulated beadlock may keep some rocks out but what is the point.

I bought these wheels for my 2002 tj and loved them at first. i got the rings powder coated black and they looked even better. after the first snow they were discolored and pitted. i did shine them up (took about an hour per wheel) and in no time they looked bad again. i am looking for new chrome wheels as we speak and wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

Nice looking wheel, needs regular attention

I will second what the previous post said. I, too, live in Hawaii, and needed to wash these things every week to counter the pitting. I had these on an 89 YJ with 33's, and I went away for 6 months, came back to find them pretty badly damaged. I managed to bring them back to almost new with some elbow grease. Bottom line, great looking wheel, needs to be washed regularly.

Good Wheel | |

Overall, good wheel. Good looks and pretty tough, durability wise. My only complaint is the finish needs fairly regular attention. I live in Hawaii and the salt in the air is a menace to vehicles, and the wheels are no exception. After a few months, the wheels started to pit, and the finish dulled quite a bit. Other than that a great looking wheel. Advice: If you live in coastal environment, take extra care to wash and scrub these weekly or bi-weekly at a minimum. |
