Strong bumper. I totaled a infinity g30.

This bumper is great and saved my jeep. I have run a cherokee with a 6 inch lift. I accidentally rear ended a g30 a little wile back totaling her car. The trunk was about in the back seat and all I did was shift my bumper back about a 1/4 inch and break a fog light..I hit with enough force to break both motor mounts..! This is a great bumper...

Solid Bumper/Good Winch platform

When I bought my bumper there were very few choices for a ZJ. The ARB was sturdy, supported a winch, and is AirBag rated. I have been happy with it overall. I have a Warn winch in it that works great. My only complaints are that the winch is fully enclosed so it is hard to get to the clutch lever, on other Jeeps ARB left the winch exposed. Also, it doesn't provide as much clearance as some of the newer winch bumpers available including the Kevin's Offroad, Trail Ready, and some others. ARB provides a solid winch platform and I have been thankful for that on more than one occasion. It also provides a great place for lights, recovery points, high-lift jack point, and even high-lift jack mounting location if you like (horizontal across the top). I am truly happy I have this bumper. Overall it is a great bumper, looks good, and just in case you need it ... its rated for kangaroo strikes. Can't beat that! |

I ordered my front ARB bumper for my TJ back in the Summer of 2007 and I love it. The bumper is really heavy so I decided to compensate by adding a 1" BL.

I've had the ARB bull bar on the front of my 2000 Cherokee XJ for 2 years now. I have a Warn winch installed as well. The bumper installation was not too hard--I completed it myself in 2 days. The bull bar maintains its great looks 2 years later. Now for the problems: 1) one of the turn signals (which I don't know why it has, since the Jeep has its own turn signals) has been filling with water from driving through the car wash. It has rusted inside and no longer works; 2) the front license plate bracket has the wrong dimensions for US license plates. You will have to drill holes, or modify the bracket.

Life Saver | |

I was involved in a collision with a Honda Civic. The guy in the car blew a stop sign and I hit him at 50 mph.I never had time to hit the brakes,The Bull bumper was extremly mangled, but I was able to walk away. Both vehicles involved were total losses, but the winch was still good and is still in use today.I purchased the product because of looks and also because it was the only one that was crash tested.I can and will atest to this being a life saver.

very good... but needs some more thought

The BIGGEST down side for me is the winch being fully inclosed. I run a Warn M8000. Winches similar to this are your only choice on a ZJ because there really isnt a whole lot of room under there. Also, the winch MUST be mounted to the bumpre before installation. If you buy the bumper and buy a winch later, the only choice is to wait, or you'll have to remove the bumper to install the winch later. That said, I have used this thing to puch around an old wrecked XJ, used it as a double-line winch point and winched several Z-71's with this thing. I am happy overall. The other down sides? Reaching the clutch lever is difficult through the lower vent slots in the bumper. Adding the ARB to a ZJ tends to restrict some of the airflow to the radiator, so the temp runs a bit warmer at highway speeds. Nothing bad, though. |

Strong Bumper | |

This bumper is as strong as they come. You can pretty much run into just about anything you want to and come out with only minor scratches. This being the case, it is great protection for the front of your vehicle and gets 10 stars for protection factor. On the downside, it is a heavy bumper for a jeep and will lower your front end a little (I had a 4 inch suspension lift and a 1 inch body lift with 35's at the time and didn't like how heavy the front of the vehicle felt), and it traps mud up underneath it that is almost impossible to get out.

VERY STRONG BUMPER | |

Great bumper, strong and sturdy. Great platform for winching, strong d-ring attachments. The ARB offers great protection for the front of my Jeep corner to corner. I would skip buying it at Quadratec if you want one. James at Jeepers and Creepers sells ARB Bull Bars for a great price, and usually offers free shiping.

Very tough, stands up to winching, hitting trees, lights don't last long, water leaks in, should have drilled drain holes.
