I love this rack. I've had it two years in the Seattle area and there's no rust despite the constant rain. I've backed into it and it doesn't bend. The powder coat hasn't peeled off even though it sits outside very day. I grease the hinge every 5k miles during an oil change and it still works flawlessly It's carrying a 33" tire and doesn't rattle or squeak. It was spendy, but worth it.

Very nice heavy duty rack. Easily modified and plenty of accessories for it. FINALLY a tire swing out that does not rattle. Large D hndle screw may not be "the hot new setup" or the newest ingenious latch, may not be the quickest latch to open or close, but DAMN IT WORKS! I use a M416 trailer on the hitch mount with no problems. Very nice company to deal with. Its not the cheapest but remember "you don't always get what you pay for - but you NEVER get what you don't pay for". This time I got exactly what i paid for! A great tire swing out rack.

This is my second rear bumper swing away in less then 10 months. My previous rack was a Durango4x4 that I was not pleased with as the rack bent and the jerry can holders did not secure the cans on the washboard trail. Durango has since made revisions to their design but I no longer trust their products. I purchased the Garvin rack as a replacement and it is awesome. Absolutly rattle free with lots of options to mod the rack. I.E. Basket, Jerry can holder and now a powertank rack. The only PITA is the large screw that secures the rack to the bumper but it has never rattled free on me like a previous poster said. Just takes a few seconds to access/close the swing away. I would recommend this bumper to friends.

Great quality, decent price, easy install, versatile bumper. I just wish the shackle tabs were welded to both the front and back of the bumper which would make them much stronger.

The rack is very sturdy. It is full of upgrade options and is well worth the money. The only problem is the locking-screw has many times shaken loose and caused the rack to rattle. It is easily fixed with another simple twist. The rack is well worth the long wait it takes to get!
