The BDS 3 inch lift is a terrific kit for the wrangler, I bought the tools and installed it myself. Installation was very straight forward just takes time and effort. Being impatient I never disconnected the steering at the pitman arm and got away fine installing. BTW lift came with many BDS decals including 1 Giant decal. Rides better then the stock wrangler, feels a little more floaty, but handles bumps corners and hard breaking and acceleration in stride. No sagging what so ever in any situation, Still a very stiff ride, Feels very solid and purposeful overall, I'd say it takes nothing away from the stock ride and only enhances. Sway bar discos are awesome and extremely easy to use, flex is very good on this kit. Under full flex everything is tight underneath. Although, it does make some groaning noises under uber flex. Currently running 33x10.50x15 KM 2's on stock rims, no rubbing on full turn or full articulation, only clips fender downward over hang with full turn and articulation. I bought this kit with the hopes of having a reliable, proper no problems lift that performs both onroad and offroad, so far it has done its job extremely well. Price wise, I didn't find a kit with more bang for your buck, when you think about the positive reviews, BDS warrenty along with the completeness, quality and ease of installation of the kit your laughing. BTW My friend liked this kit so much he decided to buy one too. |

Perfect 3" BDS Lift | |

I had this lift installed by Gresham Four Wheel Drive due to there great no hassle warranties. That with the Lifetime warranty BDS offers, I feel pretty secure in my decision. The height is perfectly balanced from the front to the back. So many vehicles end up higher in front, but this lift is actually perfect. The ride stiffness is also great. Its stiffer than stock but not out of control. Every part looks stout and extremely high in quality. Only down side is the shocks do not have anything written on them. They are just white. This seems pretty small in comparison though. I always buy the best so it only needs to be done once, and this is no exception. Lifetime Warranty!

I am not very experienced with many other lifts than this one but I put it on my Jeep as a first time lift installer and it was kind of a pain. The hardest part was getting the rear track bar reinstalled after putting on the new bracket. If you purchase this lift I would recommend you hook this up before you install the rear coils. My coils were in and the track bar would not line up. Installing it before the coils (I think) might have made the track bar a little easier. It has a good, stiff ride too it and sometimes I wonder, since mine is usually on the road, if an OME lift would have given a little less stiff ride. All things considered, main one being a price, it is a great value and a very stout set-up. |

I love the BDS 3" lift! These guys are right...offroad and onroad driving is improved. The only issue I had initially was the back sat up a little higher than the front. I found out that BDS allows for the weight of a hard-top....to bad I have the soft-top version. This was easily fixed by adding Daystar coil spacers.

The lift is great. Handles better onroad than factory. Flexs well offroad. I did upgrade and install the BDS LCA's on the front and the rear. The only thing I don't like are the sway bar disconnects which I will replace one day.
