I just bought a set of these shocks about 3 months ago and the front to just blew out. They were never very good anyway and for 227 dollars for the set it was a waste of money. The stock shocks lasted much longer than these even did. I strongly recommend to stay away from these shocks if you plan on ever leaving a paved road.

I just got 4 rancho rs 5000 for my 02 wrangler sport, so far I love em! They are way better than the skyjackers that were on before. I have had them for about a week now, have not had them off road yet(probably will this weekend). I will use them for several months and check back with you.

I have a 1987 full size Bronco with a "HEAVY" straight 6-300ci. I put RS5000 shocks on it and I destrode them in less than a 1 month. That was with new Skyjacker coils and replacement of all steering components at the same time and new ProComp tires. These shocks are made for lite vehicles and lite off road. The truck had Gabriel shocks on it that lasted 3yrs. I will now try the RSX Rancho shocks.

These shocks are decent, they are nothing fancy but then again they are not supposed to be. For the value they have done very well for me. I will upgrade to something a little more off-road friendly when can finally save enough for a bigger/better lift and tires.
