Great Tire!!!! | |

Great tire. Quiet on road, and pulls well in the mud. I have a set of 31's on my '89 Toyota 3.0 V6 4x4, and the only time I need four wheel drive is when i bottom out. Highly recommend

Good tires | |

I have a set of 235/75/r15lt on my 1997 jeep cherokee. I bought the jeep with the tires already on it, but I do like them. The tires are mostly used for street driving, but do get used in Pennsylvania swamps. I have never got stuck with them. I was in two feet of water and one foot of mud, but still clawed my way through. I rotated my tires and then they started shaking. I heard that this is because the belts shifted. After about a month they leveled out. I also think that they are heavy feeling and hurt gas economy alot.

Mount and forget mud tire!!!

I had 2 sets 31-10-15s on a 93' YJ with 4.0L 5SPD. These tires, simply put, "get the job done", they will get you there and back with no worries! Beat them, thrash them, roast em, they will take it all. Noise levels a bit louder than m/tr's, but very acceptable. Street manners are very good when dry. In the wet, "good over all". Very good at hwy speeds in heavy rain!!! Track very well in snow,("NO" tire is good on ice!!!, short of studs). Excellent mud traction,"selfcleans" well, "just keep em spinning!" Sand and Rocks are perhaps it's least favourite terrains, but they will get you there if aired down some. In sand, the aggressive tread works against it,so be careful where the sand is deep. Got 30,000+miles out of both sets, seldom rotated, often abused, No balancing problems, No "tire wear" issues, 0-flats, 0-punctures. Just mount em' and forget em', (ooh yeah.... Beat the livin'snot out of em!) I would not hesitate to buy this tires again. They look "THE S**T" too... |

Dunlops in Arizona | |

Based on the quality vs. "purchase price" of these tires I'm very happy. I run 32x11.50's on a 97 Jeep TJ, Dana 44 rear with Detroit locker,4.56 gears and a 4.3 Atlas transfer case in Arizona. Religiously check tire pressure & rotate all 5 tires accordingly and have been rewarded with over 31,000 miles & still going although "cupping" just now is beginning to show do to my highway miles to destination spots. All this on an inexpensive mudder! THIS IS EXCELLENT....PERIOD! From Phoenix I travel into the White MTNS. to the Black River(lot's of highway miles).Closer to home I'm in the Bradshaw MTNS. almost EVERY weekend wheelin' & plinkin' in mud and lot's of sharp desert rocks on mining trails which are riverbed (washes) from Lake Pleasant to Crown King with no problems. From day 1 I was paranoid about the weak sidewalls but no problems.I know it will happen but so far so good. Mud traction & side grip is solid in winter & especially monsoon summers.BTW, TJ is a daily driver too.I'm on this site reading reviews for my next mudder and want the Interco 34x9.50 but for practicality I'm back at the Dunlop. |

These tires were very inexpensive and an excellect tire for the price. The only negative thing about the tires is that the rubber tread started to chunk off. this is after one year of off road use. Besides the lugs that had chunks out of them, there were an excellent tire for the price. would I ever buy them again?? most likely not. If you are on a budget go for them.

best bang for the buck | |

these are awsome tires if you want a "no compramise" mud tire at a great price. i paid 100.00 a tire for 31x10.50s while BFG and Goddyears are 150-170 a tire, no thanks. these tires love wet deep mud. not to shabby in the snow either. we had a pretty bad blizzard this past winter in RI (two feet of snow) and i never got stuck or felt out of control(sipping is overrated in my opinion)

this tire is the best bang for the buck you will ever find when it comes to Mud Terrains. The only reason this tire does not get a 10 is because in wet and icy conditions traction starts to become iffy. Because of the lack of siping in the treads there is a lose of traction. This is the only downfall to this tire.
