If you chill at the mall, fine, keep em and shine them up. Otherwise, dont bother. The clear coat was gone in a matter of months and there is a bunch of patchy spotting all over the place. As soon as I have the means, Ill be replacing these and leaving them on the corner for some poor sucker! | |

I originally bought these rims for my TJ because they looked great (dumb!). Once I got a couple of scratches on the rims, the basically went to crap (fast!). Any areas where the clear coat was scraped off began to quickly corrode. One New England winter and these rims were showing signs of pitting. The finish on these rims may "look" similar to your stock Gamblers or Canyons, but they're definitely not as resilient. I put my stock Gambler rims through 5 winters and they looked MUCH better than my AR-23s after one winter. The area underneath all of my wheel weights on the AR-23s even corroded very quickly because the weight wore off some of the clear coat. If your Jeep is a mall queen that never sees mud, rocks, or road salt, then these rims might workout for you. If you actually "use" your Jeep though, I'd steer clear of these babies....I learned the hard way. I quickly replaced mine with the cheaper AR767 black steelies. |
