Family Time but not necessarily for hardcore Jeepers

My son and I went to this and did the tent camping just south of the site. If you are a hardcore Jeeper, the stuff here will be quite tame. This was my first time taking MY jeep offroad and had a blast at what it could do. Tech roundtables are informative and they seem to listen. Lots of historical jeeps to check out. Lots of entertainment and activities. All in all, the time I remember most was just enjoying the Jeep lifestyle with my son. He and I still both talk about it and have pleasant memories. THAT is what it is all about to me. |

The price seemed steep. Many people that paid half of what I did, made me feel cheated. X game medalists and good bands bustin out for small group (unlike the hoards you deal with at there normal events) Somethin for everyone camping in the nearby town was nice. There kids corner let you build little wooden jeeps. Some of the kids ideas were remarkable and even beating the one I built. (but least mine had a lift HA hAA you lil terds.) :) The temp agency staff was awsome cause they bent rules if it ment more fun. First vacation I've been on with no bums or people tryin to get me to buy somethin. I didnt run into one ahole there. all good people. The jeep family is one to be a part of. It was a blast and cant wait for my next opportunity!! WOooo HAaaaa

Expensive for what you got. Trail rides too short. CA location was not good for trails. Had to endure a Gilligan's Island show skit to do the Jeep 101. Solvang (nearby town) was excellent. Probably will not attend again. |

Here what was there: Jeep 101, 4x4 trail rides, Jeep agility challenge, off road basics with Moses Ludel, Rubicon challenge course, engineering technology center, adventure tower, hiking activities, climbing wall, rope clinics, paintball, fly casting, grilling school, planting school, remote control jeep course, engineering roundtable, extreme sports demos and clinics, kids entertainment course (skateboard & BMX), Camp Jeep cafe, camp financial, arts & crafts like wire art, cards, picture frames, Nikon tech center, moto X demos, guitar school, Jeep museum, Jeep gear store, aftermarket equipment, concerts with Counting Crows, Los Lobos and 10 other bands. I did allmost everything in 2 days. The runs were short but good, food OK, lots to do and bands to hear. I got lots of free stuff. It was hot but there were plenty of water coolers around. Could not camp there but could in the nearby towns which were a good place to visit and get dinner. Get the early bird discount and save some money so you can buy stuff there!
